Cookies and browser storage
Cookies and similar storage support sessions, security and preferences. Necessary session/security tools are distinct from optional analytics/advertising consent. Clearing browser storage may reset a session or saved preferences.
Current preference records
rai-public-measurement-v1 stores analytics/advertising choices in the browser; the application treats consent older than 180 days as expired. rai_pro_flow_locale remembers the selected billing-flow language for up to 30 days. Learning and interface preferences may also be stored in the browser or account; these are not advertising profiles.
Analytics and advertising
When measurement is enabled, analytics and advertising permissions can be selected separately. The Google tag does not load before consent or after rejection. Withdrawing consent may reload the page to remove loaded provider code. Current registration, signup-button and enterprise-contact measurements exclude clinical content.
Embedded video
An external player does not load before the consent button is pressed. YouTube uses the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie domain; this does not mean no data is sent to the provider. Playback is separately started by the user.
Changing preferences
Use the measurement preferences button at the bottom of the page. Preferences are stored separately per browser and domain and are not automatically transferred between devices or accounts. External providers’ cookie lifetimes must be added to this inventory as the service scope is finalized.
